Can Your Natural Crystal Products Come with Certification?

If customers require certification, we can provide certificates for all purchased products.  If you would like to learn more about the certifications we can provide, please click here.

However, it is important to understand the certification process. For instance, crystal tumbled stones and chips are sold by weight, such as 100 grams of tumbled stones or 100 grams of crystal chips, which contain multiple pieces. Certification typically applies to a single item, so if you purchase 100 grams of crystal chips, we will default to sending one selected piece for testing unless you specify the exact number of pieces to be certified.

Additionally, the definition of natural crystals means that the stones are naturally formed. Our products labeled as "Genuine" indicate that they are natural crystals. Heat-treated natural crystals are still labeled as "Genuine," but we will specify whether they have undergone heat treatment. Therefore, you need to clarify your requirements—whether you simply need a natural crystal or require a completely untreated natural crystal.

For relatively lower-priced crystal products, due to manufacturing limitations, certain processes are unavoidable. For instance, when crafting natural round beads or carved pieces, the rough stone must be embedded in resin before cutting and polishing to prevent breakage. After extraction and resting, the resin solidifies on the surface before further processing. During polishing, the outer crystal layer is completely removed. However, since most natural stones contain internal fractures, a small amount of resin may seep into the final product. This is an inevitable part of the process. Certifications will explicitly state when minimal resin filling is present. If you encounter such a statement on a certificate, there is no need for concern—this is a standard procedure for lower-priced natural crystal carvings and polished items. Small amounts of resin do not affect the crystal’s energy properties, quality, or appearance.

If you require completely untreated, resin-free products, you would need to opt for jewelry-grade gemstones, such as faceted gemstone necklaces or bracelets. These high-quality raw stones have minimal fractures and are cut from small, high-purity rough stones. Before polishing, they undergo resin impregnation, which is entirely removed during grinding, leaving no resin residue. Since gemstone-grade rough stones are of exceptional quality, they are rare and expensive, leading to higher prices for fine jewelry.

We generally do not recommend certification for lower-priced natural crystals. The authenticity of mid-to-low-quality natural crystals can usually be easily identified by the naked eye. Additionally, since natural rough stone production is abundant, it is not profitable to synthesize mid-to-low-priced artificial crystals, meaning synthetic versions are rare in this category.
